Yeah!! I completed it

Sister #1 here-YIPPEE!! I had a really long weekend so I had extra time to complete this weekends challenge. Lucky me right-except I was really busy and then when I got around to doing the challenge it was sooo freakin cold outside. I tried to go for a walk but it only took the wind about 5 min to help me decide that was not the great idea that it seemed to be. But worry not I did complete it. When uploading my pictures to flickr I realized that I have used my monthly limit already so I only got to upload a few pics. So I will post my faves here like I did last week.

Purple such a pretty color-But unfortunately it is still too cold out, so finding this pretty color in nature was very hard to do. I found this one lone flower in my front yard one day and it was gone the next.

Dessert-now this was a fun one and my family loved it. I made a bunch of different kinds of cookies one night and then cheesecake the next night. They thought I was silly taking pictures of it, trying to get the best image but they sure loved it when they got to eat it. My 8 year old kept asking about the pie all day yesterday so I finally told him that the pie was for looks that we weren't going to actually eat it but that just made him so concerned that the poor pie was going to get rotten. So he was very relieved when we finally ate and he realized that I wasn't really going to let that pie go to waste. He can be so dramatic sometimes. :)

Cheesecake (very simple)

tub of whip cream

package of cream cheese (softened)

can of sweetened condensed milk
about a tablespoon of lemon juice

graham cracker crust

Mix everything together until smooth and creamy. Spoon into crust and refridgerate until firm. Garnish with various fruits, chocolate chips etc.
Now you have a quick tasty treat that everyone in your house is sure to love.
